LOVE WINS ALWAYS - Ranjit K Sahu

Life maybe spent waiting for someone close

Or days may pass without a glimpse of love

Vain may seem the cause that a lover chose

Ending in the calls of a lonely dove

What happens with time to men who can say

In the journey among the waves of life

No one has ever knows  fate or it’s  way

Both of us being bachelors we walked together, talked together, ate together  ,laughed together. We lived together both in sunshine and rain.

Not wonder staff members referred to us as twins.

Our happy and envious association, however, came to an abrupt end as I was selected for a  job in a nationalised bank.I left the place for ever having

A Dreamy night

This never ending fire is misspelled love,

Buried so deeply in the hearts within,

It Erupts as required for its behove,

Burning the marrow penetrating skin.

I listen to my heart beats growing loud,

As the flames of passion entangle me,

Which volcano can be doused by a cloud,

However dark and clammy the cloud maybe?

Anavart Ho Sakungi (Will I Come to Life ?  )

Hidden in a stone, there lies my face

Will I ever come to life and unveiled?

Those life's songs and verse

I am longing to hum and sing

Will my voice ever be heard?

Buried deep, in the depths of my mind

are the dreams that are still alive

Will those ever, return once more to life ?

The silenced words and a soul,

Struggling, trapped and fraught
