Rupa Rao's A Poetic Odyssey : A biography of Dr Jernail Singh Anand was released at a function organised by International Academy of Ethics, at Bahai House, Sector 8, Chandigarh, chaired by Dr Anand, President of the International Academy of Ethics.
Dr Manju Chouhan, who moderated the event, in her review of the book described it an excellent tribute to Dr Jernail Singh Anand, a Nobel Nominee, who has authored 200 books, out of which 18 are epics of lasting literary value. Dr Anand is Laureate of Charter of Morava, Seneca, Franz Kafka and Maxim Gorky awards, whose name is etched on the Poets Rock in Serbia. He was conferred Hony Membership of the Association of Serbian
Writers, an honour the great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore held.Other books released by the Academy were Journeys Within and Beyond by Ashok Bhargava and My Poems have Bolted and other Poems by Ravindra Tandon.
Dr Anand conferred Roll of Honour on
Sh Ashok Bhargava and Dr Sunil Bhatia, Editor, Salahiyat for their contribution to literature and culture. Sh Ravinder Tandon (author), Prof Anil Sarwal (Guest of Honour), Sh Vinod Khanna (Chief Guest) and Dr Manju Chouhan (Moderator) received the Academy honour of Kindred Spirits.
