Gratitude

How could I express o Mary,

How dedicated and grateful,

I am to your son, mercyful,

To you Queen of the Skies, Glory ?

I would not enough…

Salvation,

The Proverb tells, begins by one,

Ability to mind his own.

I long for your benediction !

Thus I pray you, Mary Chosen,

Day and night, when my dreams loosen,

In my heart - and the hours pass…

Blessings have come, the blessings last,

Times for me to write a dozen,

Of poems to you, in Heaven.

Dialogue with an Angel friend

An Angel told me one fine day,

That the Angels hide when they weep,

Then this night I wept in my sleep,

During a dream where I had prayed…

“What is the meaning of this dream ?”

Asked I to my good Angel friend.

“You cried to the memories mend,

To you, they were difficult, Tim…”

- O thou Angelic guides above,

I wish my life could be better,

Made of Justice, good manners, love,

Harmony, temperance and joy !

Please, provide to me the letters,

Of the Book ! I’d be a good boy…

Humble be

Glorious, Lord of the Skies above,

Thank you for this life you gave me,

Thanks to your Love, and Alchemy,

Let me gaze at the clouds you move…

In prayers to you, a little,

Time after time, I wish to be,

Please smile at me, your tiny bee,

Dizzy, with a quiet bumble…

The most humble is happiest !

Understand I, in the great world,

Peace is the best time to harvest…

May I find joy, might you accept,

My work ! May I keep well these words…

Forever, worship, and expect.

Timothée Bordenave's poems weave a tapestry of fervent spirituality, where gratitude blooms as the soul's quiet rebellion against worldly strife. In "Gratitude," Mary's celestial mercy becomes a luminous anchor for salvation's elusive grace, echoing Proverbs' call to introspective redemption. "Dialogue with an Angel Friend" unfurls the vulnerability of nocturnal dreams, transforming angelic whispers into a poignant plea for justice, harmony, and tempered joy amid memory's thorns. Culminating in "Humble Be," the collection hums with humble alchemy—clouds as divine script, the heart a dizzy bee harvesting peace—reminding us that true harvest lies in worship's patient expectancy, a balm for the spirit's eternal longing.
